K9 Woodland Services

Terms

Terms and conditions

These terms govern your use of K9 Woodland Services. The binding version is the one you accept at the moment you enrol or book; that version is recorded against your account.

1. Who we are

K9 Woodland Services provides private, securely fenced dog park hire and small-group dog walking near Reading. You can reach us by email at info@k9woodlandservices.co.uk or by phone on 07759 823751. Our site is at Summer Cottage, Cane End, Reading, RG4 9HG.

2. Park hire: booking and payment

Park hire is booked online and paid for in full at the time of booking. Parks are hired in one-hour slots, and you can book as many slots as you need. The price is shown before you pay. Your booked time includes arrival and departure, so please plan to leave the field before the next hire begins.

3. Park hire: using the field

You hire the field for the exclusive use of your own group for your booked time. Please arrive and leave on time, keep gates closed, clear up after your dogs, and take all litter and waste away with you. The dog and vehicle guidance for each park is shown on its page; please keep within it.

4. Dog walking: enrolment and approval

Dog walking requires enrolment before your dog’s first walk. You tell us about your dog, upload up-to-date vaccination evidence, and give photo consent, and we review and approve each dog by hand before it can join a group. Approval is per dog: a dog we have already approved does not need to enrol again to book a walk. We may decline or withdraw approval where we reasonably believe a dog is not suited to group walking.

5. Dog walking: booking, payment and slots

Walks are booked online for a chosen day and a preferred slot (morning or midday), and are subject to availability and a cap on the number of dogs per slot. When you book, your card is authorised; we confirm the walk and the payment is taken on confirmation. The price per walk is shown before you book. Dog walking is provided by K9 Woodland Services; no VAT is chargeable.

6. Dog walking: pickup, drop-off and access

We collect your dog from home and return it after the walk, free within ten miles of our site; further afield by arrangement. If you give us a key code or access notes so we can collect and drop off, we hold them securely and only share them with the staff who need them for your dog; we never include them in emails. You are responsible for ensuring safe access to your property and for the accuracy of the details you give us.

7. Dog walking: on the walk

Walks take place off-lead in our own private, fenced woodland in small groups. You confirm your dog is fit, healthy, up to date with vaccinations and flea/worm treatment, under control, and has no history of aggression towards people or other animals. Please let us know of any medical, behavioural or dietary needs. We care for every dog as our own, but you accept that group walking carries the ordinary risks of dogs playing together.

8. Your responsibility and our liability

You remain responsible for your dogs at all times and use our parks and walking service at your own risk. You are liable for any injury or damage caused by your dogs or your group. We maintain our site in good condition and take reasonable care of every dog, but do not accept liability for loss, injury or damage except where caused by our negligence and to the extent required by law.

9. Cancellations

If you need to cancel a park hire or a walk, please let us know as early as possible. Refund eligibility for the amount paid is as set out at the time of booking. We may cancel or close a field, or stand down a walk, at short notice for safety (for example extreme weather or ground conditions) and will offer a re-booking or refund where we do.

10. Data and changes

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may update these terms from time to time; the version you accepted at enrolment or booking continues to apply to that enrolment or booking.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
